Worries grow as search for missing Thato Ralesile enters second day
A collaborative effort by the police, family, and community members to locate the toddler has been ongoing since Saturday, 19 August 2023.
In a statement, police spokesperson Colonel Adele Myburgh revealed that Thato Ralesile was playing outside in her aunt’s yard when she was last seen on Saturday afternoon around 17:00.
At that time, she was wearing a distinctive outfit: a red tracksuit top, cream trousers, and pink sneakers.
Following her disappearance, a joint search operation was launched involving the local police, family members, and concerned community members.
Despite extensive search efforts, which included a thorough sweep of the village area and nearby surroundings, there has been no success in locating the missing toddler.
As the search enters its second day, authorities have escalated their efforts.
Col Myburgh revealed that North West police have deployed its K9 and Mounted Units to bolster the search party. Their expertise and resources are expected to enhance the scope of the search, increasing the likelihood of locating Thato.
The Pudimoe community has been urged to actively participate in the search for Thato Ralesile.
