Videos circulating on social media captured the chaotic aftermath of the shooting, showing partygoers fleeing in panic as gunshots rang out.
The footage highlighted the terror and confusion that gripped the club as patrons sought refuge under tables and dashed towards exits.
Mabonga, who suffered a gunshot wound to the ribs, was rushed to Mediclinic Morningside for treatment. The source further revealed that the shooting started outside the club and then moved inside, with the receptionist also being shot in the incident.
