On Thursday, 16 May 2024, three Sasko delivery workers were ambushed by armed gunmen at the corners of Symphony Way and Temprol in Suburban, Delft.
Despite complying with the robbers, two of the employees were brutally killed, and the attackers fled with cellphones and an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect, identified as Martin Mungayi, a Zimbabwean national, has been linked to this heinous crime.
According to sources, Mungayi was travelling by bus to Zimbabwe when his identity and location were revealed by an informer.

Mungayi has a history of criminal activities, including a robbery in Mfuleni in July 2022 and another in May 2024. He is also connected to multiple robbery cases across the province.
The dashcam footage from the bakery truck, which quickly spread across various platforms, shows the robbers intercepting the vehicle and committing the crime.
