A RocoMamas eatery in Sandton, Johannesburg, was the scene of a group brawl that was captured on CCTV.
What happened at Sandton RocoMamas?
Footage of a brawl that erupted inside the popular burger joint situated at the Nelson Mandela Square shopping centre in Sandton, Johannesburg, went viral on social media.
As indicated by renowned crime reporter Yusuf Abramjee, who shared the video on his Twitter feed, the fight took place at least three weeks ago.
In the clip, two groups of men, seated next to each other, were caught by a store camera moments before things went awry. At the start, everything seemed normal. The men were enjoying a conversation at their respective tables, chatting away as the RocoMamas food went down.
The first sight of an interaction between the two tables took place somewhere in the region of the 00:15-00:22 mark. Words were clearly exchanged and by 00:38, tensions were palpable.

Things quickly escalated from a war of words to fisticuffs between the two groups of men. The brawl went on unabated for about a minute, then Sandton RocoMamas staff and guests stepped in when chairs were used as weapons.

Outside the establishment, the fight continued between the two groups. In the clip below, one of the males faced a clobbering from a member of the group believed to have instigated the chaos.
