The father of Nandipha Magudumana made it abundantly clear he had no intention of cooperating with police in their search for the disgraced doctor.
Dr Nandipha is in hiding, father confirms
In an exclusive interview with eNCA‘s Silindelo Masikane, Magudumana’s father revealed his daughter went into hiding when GroundUp‘s stellar investigation into convicted rapist and killer Thabo Bester’s epic prison escape went viral.
Not only does Magudumana’s father claim to know where his daughter is hiding, but he also made it clear he will, under no circumstance, cooperate with the investigation into her whereabouts.
“I don’t want any person to her whereabouts because I don’t trust anybody. It’s a very sensitive matter. I have left it to the people to do their investigations and all that,” he said.
Further revelations made by Masikane all but confirmed that Dr Nandipha, who runs a boutique cosmetic surgery Optimum Medical Solutions, was, indeed, romantically involved with Bester and the two were living comfortably in a Hyde Park mansion.
According to GroundUp, however, Dr Nandipha had abandoned the rented property for weeks after news of her alleged involvement in Bester’s prison escape broke out.
Moreover, the landlord of the Hyde Park property told reporters that he had gotten into a fiery quarrel with Dr Nandipha’s people after they attempted to remove items from the building belonging to him.
From what we understand, Dr Nandipha and Bester ran a property renovation business called Arum Holdings from the Hyde Park residence.
“GroundUp is in possession of a recorded telephone conversation from last week between Bester and a client of Arum Holdings. Bester was using the name “TK Nkwana,” the publication wrote.
While in hiding, Dr Nandipha resurfaced on social media, on Thursday, 23 March 2023, to announce the resumption of her cosmetic surgery on an Instagram post.
Optimum Medical Solutions was scheduled to reopen on Wednesday, 29 March 2023 at 09:00. However, reporters who flocked to the surgery in Morningside, Sandton, found it abandoned.
Police are still in search of Dr Nandipha in connection with Bester’s prison escape. The disgraced doctor was still missing when this article was published.
