Mihlali Ndamase has been targeted in a new petition that’s garnered more than 2 500 signatures from detractors who want her business dealings effectively cancelled.
‘Cancel’ Mihlali Ndamase petition gains traction
The cosmetics entrepreneur has been very open about her relationship with renowned businessman Leeroy Sidambe, albeit rumours are still rife about his estranged marriage to Maryjane Sidambe.
For some, including the infamous celebrity gossip microblogger Musa Khawula, Ndamase’s active participation in openly dating a married man is supposedly encouraging “young women that it is acceptable to wreck homes and humiliate a woman and kids publicly.”
“It is shameful that big brands like Coca Cola continue to work and associated themselves with Mihlali Ndamase after we have seen on social media that she is actively involved in a wrecking a home by dating a married man.
“Mihlali Ndamase continues and takes pride in her action and continues to torment Maryjane Sidambe whom she took her husband. Maryjane Sidambe and her husband Leeroy Sidambe have two kids and they are also dragged in this shameful relationship that Leeroy has with homewrecking Mihlali Ndamase,” the petition reads.
Khawula, whose checkered past is the subject of an ongoing murder investigation, accused Ndamase of humiliating Sidambe’s estranged wife in a recent vlog she uploaded on her channel where she and Maryjane surfaced at the same salon.
“Mihlali Ndamase has a huge following of which are women, is this the kind of message she is sending to young women that it is acceptable to wreck homes and humiliate a woman and kids publicly?” the murder-accused microblogger asked.
Thus far, Ndamase has not issued a public response to Khawula. However, she did post a cryptic tweet, seemingly scoffing at her detractors with teasing bikini pics and a caption that reads in translation: “Let them talk about you for free. You’re killing them.”
The ‘cancel Mihlali Ndamase’ petition had garnered 2 524 out of 5 000 signatures at the time this article was published.
