The Podcast and Chill with MacG episode that aired on Channel O on Wednesday had people talking after their guest Boohle made comments about contributions made by Cassper Nyovest to their song Siyathandana.
The MacG’s podcast is known for his grilling questions. This time around the Amapiano artist was asked about her feature on Nyovest’s hit song Siyathanda, including how much the rapper contributed to writing the hit song. Boohle went on to claim that the rapper “only came with his verse.”
“I wasn’t even there,” she said.

This is what Casper Nyovest had to say about Boohle’s comment
The video clip that caused a frenzy on Twitter also included a comment made by MacG. The Podcast and Chill host bluntly said the verse of Nyovest was “unnecessary” in the Siyathanda song.
After the video clip had been trending on Twitter all night Nyovest finally had something to say. On Thursday, the rapper expressed how disappointed he was about the comments made on the show.
He said he will not say anything about how the song was written but there is no bad blood between him and Boohle and he wishes her the best on her career.
This is so disappointing and I’ve watched it a few times. I won’t even explain anything about how this song was written but I got sooo much love for Boohle man. One of the most gentle of souls I’ve met and we made magic together. May God bless her, May she make many more hits. https://t.co/d24IcNRt6O

Twitter’s reaction to Boohle’s comment
There were mixed emotions about the comment made by the Amapaino vocalist. Some people commended Boohle for her transparency on the show and for giving credit where it is due. Whereas some people felt Boohle could have refrained from commenting, and simply appreciated the success of the collaborative work between her and Cassper Nyovest.
You’re safe boohle. Don’t give away any credit for your work queen. You did nothing wrong. MacG makes good interviews she.. the questions that break power chains. Now we know that you’re a writer and a good one. Go on GIIIIRL!!!!!! pic.twitter.com/dWdyLVsZeZ

Cassper said JR wrote congratulate. Did he fumble the bag? Boohle made a beautiful song and was honest enough to say tsibip came with that redundant verse. Boohle is gona shine with/without Capper. MacG is honestly doing his job, fishing for the info we need. Tsek maan. pic.twitter.com/kzlnBFKnOO

Boohle could’ve given MacG almost the same reaction he got from Big Zulu when he said Ricky’s verse wasn’t needed. Nothing wrong with her answer but showing respect to artist you collaborated with instead of clout is a way to go. #podcastandchillwithmacg

I feel like Boohle needs to not answer everything. Being that blunt about certain people in the industry will get her blocked before she takes off higher than she already has.
