Lesego ‘DJ Speedsta’ Nkaiseng may want to reconsider his words now that Cassper Nyovest has met his vitriol with a challenge in the ring.
DJ Speedsta shades Cassper Nyovest
In the wee hours of Tuesday, the MetroFM radio host, blinded by insomnia, took to social media to share his thoughts about Nyovest.
Speedsta described the Sweet and Short hitmaker as ‘weak’ and having ‘no soul’.
“He has no soul [and] will die for showbiz. That’s why he will do whatever just to be on ‘top’, In my opinion. You are the weakest SA Hip Hop has ever seen! And you’re supposed to be a role model! Shame on you,” the producer exclaimed in one tweet.
And to you people that always talk nonsense behind a screen.

Year after year, Cassper is always in some “News”
Always the victim. Always putting out good energy & doesn’t understand why people “hate he’s success”
I’m personally done with he’s nonsense. Know the man (cont)
Without accompanying his rant with any context, many fans were left bewildered by this sentiment, coming from someone who once had a good on-screen relationship with the Motswako rapper.
Nyovest challenges Speedsta to a boxing bout
Suffice it to say, much like the ire he drew from his public spat with Nasty C, Speedsta’s outbursts about Nyovest were met with backlash.
As things stand, the radio host has not offered any explanation for his motivation behind publicly defaming Nyovest. The rapper, however, did furnish Speedsta with a response to his Twitter rant.
In a quoted tweet, Nyovest shared his disappointment with the producer’s attitude, especially since he “used to pick me up in your A3 when I had nothing.”
“Today I have made something of myself and you turned sour cause I outshined those you thought deserved it more than me,” he said.
Nyovest has since issued an invite to Speedsta for a boxing bout to clear the tensions that exist between the former mates.
This is so disappointing for me cause you used to pick me up in your A3 when I had nothing. Today I have made something of myself & you turned sour cause I outshined those you thought deserved it more than me. I keep saying, if you have something to say to me meet me in the ring. https://t.co/DJRnfkH60X

At the time this article was published, the producer had not directly responded to the challenge. Instead, Speedsta has doubled down on his claims.
Listen to my radio show. I asked him about that & he said he regretted it. Cassper said “Forget about that, let’s get in the ring” I can pull the clip out.

I’ve always been fair.
