Cyril Ramaphosa family meeting: What will the president announce?
It seems Mzansi has, once again, after a stern warning, misbehaved. Coronavirus (Covid-19) cases continue to soar and more than ever, police are dealing with deviants who flout alcohol ban laws and other lockdown regulations.
None was more publicised than the unrest that took place at an illegal church gathering in Sebokeng, Gauteng. More than 250 churchgoers clashed with riot police, who were forced to use rubber bullets and gas bombs to disperse crowds. The church leader and two others were arrested and charged with contravening the Disaster Management Act.
At this time, it is unclear if Ramaphosa will be introducing stricter measures. Although, reports have risen of Gauteng possibly facing a level 4 lockdown for a month.
