Actress Khanyi Mbau is on the verge of detailing the ongoings of her recent Dubai scandal in a new Amapiano song featuring Sir Trill.

Khanyi Mbau prepares to bank on Dubai trauma

The renowned public figure sent South Africa into a nationwide panic in August when her former boyfriend Kudzai Mushonga posted distress alerts on his Instagram page, claiming that the 35-year-old had gone missing in the Arab nation.

It would turn out, 24 hours later, that Mbau had, in fact, boarded a Qatar Airways flight to South Africa, leaving Mushonga, and the goals they’d set out to conquer Dubai, behind.

While speculation was rife on what the real reason behind Mbau’s Dubai escape was, Mushonga always maintained that he’s never physically abused the former broadcaster.

It’s not known what Mushonga’s resolve was after the embarrassment he suffered at the hands of his former companion. However, judging from this Instagram post from five days ago, it’s safe to presume that he’s dealing with he breakup pretty well.

In Mbau’s case, on the other hand, a traumatic experience has turned into a potential smash hit. “Phuma ingathi uzobuya” is quickly becoming a slogan for bailing out on relationships and lodged between hard-knocking Amapiano drums, this could be a viral chant heard at street bashes and parties this festive season.

No details have emerged on whether this is an official song but by the looks of this snippet, which features an appearance from Trill, an Amapiano-certified hitmaker, one would expect it to be on digital streaming platforms in the near future.
