Eskom has published an outlook of the loadshedding schedule starting Monday, 29 April 2024.
Loadshedding outlook for this week: Here’s what to expect
In a statement released on Sunday, Eskom confirmed that the suspension of loadshedding would be extended until further notice due to “sustained generation capacity and sufficient emergency reserves.”
“Eskom will provide an update next Friday afternoon or promptly communicate should any significant changes occur,” the utility said.
Moreover, the loadshedding outlook for the week ahead suggests outages may remain suspended as Eskom expects to return a total of 3 300MW of generation capacity to service by Monday evening.
