Over the weekend, BIA didn’t just respond to Cardi B’s recent diss on Megan Thee Stallion and GloRilla’s Wanna Be (Remix), she took things up a notch with a fiery Instagram video, accusing Cardi of some serious shade.
In Sue Me, BIA goes all out, throwing some heavy accusations at Cardi B. In the track, she spits bars accusing Cardi of cheating on Offset and lying in her vows.
The cover of the diss track is actually an Instagram Story that Offset posted and deleted last year. BIA’s lyrics are intense and direct, showing that she’s not here to play around.
She raps:
“Put it on your gang that they ain’t f**k you in/ Put it on your name since you so gangsta like your f**kin’ friends/ Put it on your hubby since you love lyin’ on your vows…”
What we know about their beef
Cardi B and BIA’s beef has been brewing for a while. The drama escalated when Cardi took a shot at BIA in her verse on the Wanna Be (Remix), calling out BIA for allegedly copying her style.
In an Instagram Live session, Cardi explained that BIA accused her of biting her style, which Cardi vehemently denied.
She expressed her frustration, saying she doesn’t like BIA’s music or style and can’t see any similarities.
The tension between them dates back even further, with fans pointing out BIA’s subtle shade toward Cardi since at least 2021.
This was around the time BIA deleted tweets mentioning Cardi after collaborating with Nicki Minaj on the Whole Lotta Money (Remix).
Cardi B vows to sue BIA
Cardi B didn’t take BIA’s diss lightly.
After breaking down their beef on Instagram Live, Cardi threatened to release their phone call where they tried to address their issues.
She ended up playing a snippet of BIA’s diss track from her phone and warned that she would sue BIA for lying about her.
“You lyin’ on my f**kin’ p***y?” Cardi snapped.
“When you lie about my p**y, I’mma sue you and you got to come with receipts. And not social media receipts, you gotta come with court receipts.”
