Cape Town brazen crime is on the rise
The daylight Grassy Park murder occurred less than a day after two people were shot and killed near the promenade in Camps Bay.
According to police, the bodies of two men were discovered metres apart from each other on the sprawling lawns of Victoria Road. Unverified reports suggest the shooting may have been related to taxi violence and that one of the victims was the actual target.
The second, according to a man who identified himself on social media as his colleague, claimed he was present when the shooting broke out and that his mate was struck by a stray bullet in the head.
The motive behind the Camps Bay murders remains unknown, and the suspects are believed to be at large.
