The launch includes both local and international brands and aims to combine great value with a convenient shopping experience.
“From today, customers can count on Amazon.co.za for a stress-free shopping experience, fast and reliable delivery, access to 3,000 pickup points, 24/7 customer support, and easy returns. Customers will also enjoy free delivery on their first order,” he added.

How does free delivery work on Amazon South Africa?
For products fulfilled by Amazon, the new store offers free delivery on the first order with no minimum purchase requirement.
For subsequent orders, free delivery is available for purchases over R500 (about $27).
This initiative is part of Amazon’s strategy to enhance customer satisfaction and encourage frequent use of the platform.
Additionally, Amazon has simplified the shopping experience by offering updates through WhatsApp, allowing customers to track their orders seamlessly.

Amazon.co.za has set up an efficient system for order tracking and returns, aiming to build customer trust and satisfaction.
Orders can be tracked in real-time via WhatsApp, providing updates at every step from purchase to delivery.
If customers need to return items, Amazon offers a 30-day hassle-free return policy, which includes convenient options like home pickup and self-drop at designated points.
