Social media truly is a fickle place and fewer people know that to be true than the son of former president Jacob Zuma, Duduzane.
Social media’s love-hate relationship with Duduzane Zuma
A year after he was found not guilty in the infamous culpable homicide charge, Duduzane is the star in the gazes of a lot of South Africans.
To many, he is the coolest cat in the room and some even dubbed him as the country’s future president, following in the footsteps of his father.

What’s the #DuduzaneChallenge about?
The 36-year-old recently shot up the trends list. Why? For no particular reason, really. A video of Zuma stepping out of an elevator and walking out of a hotel lobby surrounded by CIA-looking bodyguards went viral on social media.
Soon, a new challenge was born. Users took on the #DuduzaneChallenge and recorded themselves mimicking the swank of the former president’s son and longtime affiliate of the notorious Gupta family.
