News reports coming from the United States (US) have confirmed the death of Benjamin Keough, the only grandson to Rock legend Elvis Presley.

As reported by TMZ, the 27-year-old’s lifeless body was found in Calabasas, Los Angeles on Sunday. Based on preliminary examinations, police believe that Keough may have died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The death is still subject to further investigation. His mother, famed singer and daughter of Elvis Presley, Lisa Marie, has found it hard to deal with the untimely death of her son, according to her manager.
“She is completely heartbroken, inconsolable and beyond devastated but trying to stay strong for her 11-year-old twins and her oldest daughter Riley. She adored that boy. He was the love of her life,” Roger Widynoski noted in a statement.
Not much information is available on Keough, aside from the fact that he was born into a celebration family tree. His father, Danny Keough, is a musician, so is his mom who is the daughter of the legendary Elvis Presley.
His sister, Riley Keough, is a prominent actress in the independent film industry and is known best for her roles in horror flicks like The Lodge.
From what we know, Keough was pursuing a career in film and music. According to TMZ, the 27-year-old had signed a R83-million recording deal in 2009 but nothing came of it, it seems.
It’s also believed he appeared in a number of movies over the years. Although, there are no credits available in this regard.
Burial arrangements for Keough have yet to be confirmed.
