Daily Beast has speculated that this may be a prank, a re-enactment of some sorts, or even a set-up. But, what about the cameraman who can be heard shouting “Whoa, bro! Bro!”?
“Whatever the truth of the matter, it’s still undeniably alarming to see Ezra Miller, a famously sensitive artist who identifies as non-binary and queer, trending on social media after a clip of him appearing to choke a female fan on the streets of Reykjavik went viral,” Tom Sykes writes.
In the video, a person matching the description of the 27-year-old is seen in an apparent confrontation with what’s believed to be a female fan, in Iceland.
The video is short but you can hear the man saying “oh, you wanna fight?” before grabbing the woman by the neck and pushing her into the back wall of an aisle truck parked behind her.
On My Block star Diego Tinoco (plays Cesar Diaz in the teen drama)’s reaction was a simple ‘F*ck Ezra Miller” tweet.
The Fantastic Beasts star has not made any public statement as yet and at this time, the context to this video is still lost.
