Reports of Phangindawo’s death surfaced on social media in the late hours of Sunday 7 June 2020. While the details of the case are still very sketchy, it is believed that Phangindawo, a mother of two in her 20s, was hacked to death with an axe by her partner.
A community in Mossel Bay took to social media for assistance in tracking down a man named Mlondolozi Ntlangula who, at this time, is believed to be involved, in some capacity, in the death of Phangindawo.
Social media rallies up #JusticeforNaledi calls
The rumour mill has claimed that Ntlangula was romantically involved with the victim and that he allegedly hacked her to death after she was adamant on ending their relationship.
We couldn’t reach the Mossel Bay police for comment but it is believed that the person of interest in the murder case has turned himself in.
