A woman known on Twitter as ‘Khanya Nolz’ is trending on social media after her private messages with Transport Minister Fikile Mbalula leaked on her timeline.
Fikile Mbalula DMs to Twitter woman go viral
On Thursday, Twitter was up in arms after Khanya posted a screenshot of private conversations she allegedly held with Mbalula in February.
In the short dialogue, Mbalula is seen allegedly soliciting a meet-up with the woman who, from our understanding, is Cape Town-based.
Khanya doubled down on the connotations drawn from the private conversation with a reply to her own tweet, which read:
Its the ladies that say I fumbled the bag for me. Its clear that ladies would do anything to climb the ladder of success.

Social media reacts to Khanya’s ‘bizarre’ online behaviour
However, those who’ve followed the natural hair enthusiast for a while refuse to believe that she was the one who leaked her own DMs.
This account has been hacked I advise you not to pay attention to any of the current tweets you may see from it, beware this is not khanya tweeting, a lot of big accounts have been getting hacked recently, and what's concerning is how lightly Twitter headquarters is taking this pic.twitter.com/lHhNj3ICOp

Khanya’s supporters have been on the defence, claiming that her account was hacked and that whoever gained access to her Twitter is the one who published the DMs.
Khanya is hacked & she’s asking if you can REPORT this account ❤️ https://t.co/48DBagoKtW pic.twitter.com/ZLQPgX3oQ4

A visit to Khanya’s Twitter Fleets shows two posts of an unknown man, further supporting the claims made by the popular user’s followers.

At the time this article was published, Mbalula had not responded to the leaked DMs. The transport minister is married to Nozuko and has two children.
