As Muslims around the world enter Eid al-Fitr, the last day of Ramadan, tensions have spilt in a bloody war against Palestine.
Palestine under attack: What’s the latest?
As reported by Al Jazeera, at least 69 Palestinians have been killed since the start of the Israeli offensive. This tally includes 17 children and eight women. More than 390 others have been treated with serious injuries as Israeli fighter jets continue to lay the assault on various locations on the Gaza Strip.
This barrage of attacks didn’t go unreciprocated. Hamas, a militant group that runs the Gaza Strip, launched its own set of rockets to various locations in Israel. Based on the latest data provided by the Israeli government, at least six Israelis, including one child, have been killed.
The latest updates coming in from the ongoing turf war indicate that tensions are still palpable in the region, in so far as Israeli police were recently accused of attacking Arabs living in the biblical Holy Land.
These video clips, showing an Arab man attacked by a group of men dressed in police uniform, surfaced on social media as proof of the bold claims.
Could the Israeli government be targeting its own citizens? This, the government has yet to debunk.

How you can help Palestinians
Palestinian activists have been using their social media platforms to spread awareness about the injustices suffered by their people.
Paliroots, a well-renowned social media activist group, published this guide on how the world can be an ally with Palestinians.
How social media celebrated Eid al-Fitr
The major Islamic religious event comes at a dark time for the Muslim community. In a festive period where Muslims should be celebrating the end of a month of fasting, a war spilt blood on this crucial religious occasion.
This is how social media commemorated Eid al-Fitr this year:
