Retired world championship boxer Mike Tyson delivered stinging punches to the face of a passenger on a recent flight and the entire ordeal, albeit bittersweet for the poor lad, was caught on camera.
Why did Mike Tyson punch the passenger?
If there is one crucial takeaway the man who got fisted in the face by Tyson will walk away with, it’s to tread very carefully around a former boxer who, in a moment of frustration, bit off an ear of his opponent.
Details confirmed by TMZ Sports claim annoyance was the catalyst behind the pummelling.
According to eyewitnesses, the 55-year-old heavyweight champion was due to depart from an airport in San Fransisco to Florida, and out of the kindness of his heart, he’d allowed the aircraft to make seats available to general passengers.
In comes the raucous fan who, at first, got to take a picture with Tyson. However, things went south when, seated behind the retired boxer, he became too chatty,.
Sources claim Tyson grew highly irritated and that’s when he was caught on camera delivering death blows to the man’s face before disembarking from the aircraft.
It is unclear at this stage if the 55-year-old will have any explaining to do to authorities since, according to TMZ, the passenger has opted to not cooperate with police.
We are also told the passenger was treated for non-life-threatening wounds.

The punches clearly knocked a few senses into the passenger who will surely learn to conduct himself in a more respectful manner around celebrities, next time around.
