An unidentified man is being sought after video footage showing him pummelling a woman inside a moving taxi surfaced on social media.
Who is the man filmed beating woman in taxi?
At this time, no solid information on the man’s identity has been uncovered. It’s reported that the incident took place inside of a taxi en route to Durban, from Pietermaritzburg.
The video clip that’s gone viral starts with the unidentified man repeatedly asking, “do you know me?”, as he gets out of his seat to turn his attention to two women seated behind him.
In a gob-smacking split second, things turn incredibly violent when the man launches a clobbering on one of the female passengers.
Lost in a fit of rage, the man repeatedly chants “do you know me?’ the entire time, in the midst of launching blows to a defenceless woman.
Taxi passengers watched on and others turned the other cheek while the woman, only identified by her friend as Fezeka, received fists and elbows to her face.
It took an uninspired plea from one passenger, 30 seconds into Fezeka’s pummelling, to get the taxi driver to pull over.
Search for this woman-beater continues
The viral clip has been doing the rounds on social media, with more prominent voices joining the search for the unidentified man.
