Demba Ba is a trending topic in world football and it had absolutely nothing to do with his on-field talents.
Watch: Demba Ba fumes over fourth referee official
The former Chelsea centre-forward (CF), who now plays for Istanbul Basaksehir, shot into the headlines when he confronted a fourth referee official about a racial slur he flung towards the club’s assistant manager, Pierre Webo.
“You never this say ‘this white guy’, you say ‘this guy’, so why when you mention… listen to me… so why when you mention a black guy [do] you have to say ‘this black guy?'” he asked.
This is how racism should be addressed. This is how it’s done! Not later! Not in the boardroom! RIGHT THERE!!! #DembaBa pic.twitter.com/xVMyZnVB94

The fourth official admitted to a crowd of players and managers that had swarmed him on the sidelines of PSG’s Le Parc des Princes pitch, that he had indeed referred to Webo as a black man in a derogatory manner.
The match was immediately suspended when players from both teams refused to return to the pitch and resume their Champions League fixture.
What will happen with the PSG vs Istanbul Basaksehir game?
Thus far, the UEFA has yet to make an official statement over the future of fourth official Sebastian Coltescu. However, karma reached him in other ways.
Coltescu’s Instagram was hacked shortly after the incident and his profile bio was replaced with football’s signature ‘say no to racism’ hashtag.
