A viral video has been doing the rounds on social media, showing a woman completely blinded by rage as she destroys property inside a Capitec branch.
Capitec responds to viral video of naked woman
At this time, details around the incident that recently took place at one of the financial institution’s branches are still unclear. The identity of the woman remains unknown and despite our best attempts, we were unable to determine the cause of the incident that left social media gobsmacked.
It seems, Capitec is on the same boat. The bank issued a response to questions around the video, claiming to be as befuddled as viewers who’ve seen the clip.
“We at Capitec are as perplexed by this matter as everyone else and we are trying to get to the bottom of this,” the bank wrote in a tweet.
Hi Lingode, we at Capitec are as perplexed by this matter as everyone else and we are trying to get to the bottom of this.

Social media reacts to viral video
This is not the first time video clips showing irate Capitec clients in fits of rage have surfaced. Numerous times, allegations of money going missing in clients’ accounts have constantly been levelled against the bank.
Here are some of the reactions we picked out, where users make startling claims about Capitec.
If you love and value your money NEVER bank with @CapitecBankSA they are shit. All you gotta do is go on social media and read all the stories of how people lost their monies to fraud and Capitec never bothers to investigate and refund their clients. Close your account NOW
