What prompted the ambush?
Our attempts to contact The Toy Shop for a statement were unsuccessful. However, from what we know, it appears that the incident was the result of a deal gone horribly wrong.
It’s alleged that two men approached the luxury vehicle rental to take out two cars. We can’t imagine that the process is simple, considering the value of the assets.
Alas, somewhere in their application, things went left and the two men were turned down. At this time, The Toy Shop has not provided clarity on this.
It’s unclear what triggered the outrage but it’s believed the two men were so enraged, they called on their cohorts to the rental shop. Witnesses claim two taxis pulled up outside The Toy Shop and a gang of men hopped out with weapons drawn.
As it is seen in the video, the men smashed the luxury vehicles’ windscreens and body. Moreover, staff members were also targeted.
At this time, it is unclear if a case has been opened against the attackers.
