Men have not been the same since PlayStation unveiled the almighty PS5, Sony’s next generation of gaming that is set to retail in 2021.
PS5 price: How much will the console cost?
On Thursday, the gaming empresario held a virtual unveiling event where more than 150 games were teased, all of them sporting next-gen graphics.
The price of the PS5 has yet to be determined but speculations are already rife and according to Gamespot, the console could enter the market at a price range of $450 to $500 (R7 662,63 to R8 514,03 as at 08:04 on Sunday 14 June 2020).
Those more interested in the hardware power the console packs can go ahead and watch the video below. We, on the other hand, are more fixated with the shenanigans of Mzansi men who have been clapping their booty cheeks for a chance to win a PS5.
Twerk for Phume: Mzansi men clap cheeks for PlayStation
This is in no way an exaggeration of what has been transpiring on social media in the past 24 hours. In a bid to come to the aid of helpless chaps who will do anything to get their grimy hands on the coveted console, a self-proclaimed investment banker named Phume held a twerk challenge on Instagram Live.
The best ass-clapper who impressed Phume would be awarded a PS5 console when it drops and low and behold, this was not above many men’s moral code.
These are just some of the hilarious attempts we sourced from Twitter:
People were perplexed by the level of desperation men will go through for a PS5. If it was not clear where the loyalty of a man lay, it must be clear as daylight now.
This is how non-participants reacted to the challenge.
