The 24-year-old’s pictures of herself in a bikini, posed next to a swimming pool, on a hot summer’s day has ruffled feathers.
Some of the comments left beneath this post are too vulgar and repulsive to quote. However, the gist of it is, people were generally outraged by Musida‘s self-confidence.
Social media demands more from Miss SA

It might happen that my Diabetes is showing me flames, but I'm noticing mostly "NAKED" pics from our current Miss SA on the TL🤔🤔— JAZZMEE🇿🇦 (@KalaweThembela) January 18, 2021
Others noted the trend in how South Africans have not accepted Musida as their new pageant queen, often shaming her body and finding fault in everything she does.
All I can say is y’all are so mean. From the day she entered Miss SA you made her journey hell. So what if she wants to post her beautiful bikini pictures. Why do you love dictating how people should be. A lot of you here need to heal from your own insecurities.— YT: Masechaba Kobola 💛 (@chabikobola) January 19, 2021
