Pochettino stats as Chelsea manager
Mauricio Pochettino’s tenure at Chelsea was marked by challenges and moderate successes.

- Win Percentage: Pochettino achieved a win percentage of approximately 45%. This figure is below the high expectations set by Chelsea’s history and previous managers.
- Points per Game: Under Pochettino, Chelsea managed an average of 1.45 points per game. This showcases the team’s struggle to secure consistent victories and accumulate points in the Premier League.
- League Position: Chelsea managed to secure a top-six position in the league, even after dropping points against lower-ranked teams such as Burnley and Sheffield United.

Does this mark the return of Thomas Tuchel?
Speculation has been rife about the potential return of Thomas Tuchel to Chelsea. Tuchel, currently managing Bayern Munich, has expressed openness to returning to Chelsea, particularly due to the challenges faced by his current club in the Bundesliga, where Bayern Munich is trailing in the title race.
Thomas Tuchel previously led Chelsea to significant success, including winning the Champions League in 2021. Despite his achievements, Tuchel was dismissed following a change in ownership at Chelsea.
With the departure of Pochettino, there are suggestions that Tuchel might consider a return to Stamford Bridge.
Tuchel has also been linked with other high-profile clubs, including Manchester United, given the uncertainties surrounding Erik ten Hag’s future at Old Trafford.
