Centurion flash floods: Footage shows vehicles trapped on the road
On Tuesday, the South African Weather Service (SAWS) issued a warning of possible disruptive rainfall in parts of Gauteng for the entire day, resulting in localised flooding and severe thunderstorms.

Centurion weather forecast: Severe thunderstorms expected
The torrential weather, according to Ventusky.com readings, will persist throughout Wednesday and Thursday, in Gauteng, as well as parts of Free State and KwaZulu-Natal (KZN).
While temperatures are expected to remain relatively warm at a maximum of 22°C in Centurion, residents ought to prepare for a very wet late afternoon, since the light drizzle felt in the morning will escalate to heavy downpours measured at 5.5mm in precipitation.
