What you need to visit Morocco in 2022
While South Africa and Morocco are on the same continent, and both are members of the African Union (AU), Mzansi is not included in the list of countries exempt from visa entry.
Therefore, the first step to undertake when planning to visit Morocco in 2022 is to apply for a visa. Here are the requirements:
- Valid South African passport
- two passport photos (in colour), not older than six months
- Copies of a valid South African passport and ID document
- Valid vaccination card/certificate
- Flight itinerary
- Three months’ bank statement
- Copy of hotel reservation
