Screenshots showing Windows 11 were leaked online before Microsoft could hold their special event to reveal the “next generation of Windows”, as specified by Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella. During the event, Microsoft is expected to detail the next major changes to Windows — visual enhancements at most. According to The Verge, Microsoft’s event invite even appears to tease a new Windows logo.
According to CNN Business, Windows 10 was supposed to be Windows’ ultimate PC operating system, to be frequently updated. It is not clear why Microsoft had to come up with a new Windows version. CNN Business says that there is nothing “revolutionary” about the new version, forming this perception from the leaked screenshots.
However, other folks are stunned by the leaked version and think it looks pretty cool.

What people had to say about the leaked version
The availability date for the new version was going to be communicated during the launch. At least a fair amount of people have received the new version well. Judging from social media posts, a lot of people seem to think that Microsoft is copying Apple.
Last month Microsoft confirmed that Windows 10X is dead and that its OS originally built for dual-screen devices, would no longer ship. Nadella also promised to unlock a better economy for developers and creators within Windows itself. What do you think about the spruced-up Windows version? Is it worth it?
