Elon Musk, fresh from a Lemonade-esque drubbing by his semi-ex baby momma Grimes, sent the markets into a whirl when he tweeted that he contemplates quitting all of his jobs.
Is Elon Musk following the billionaire trend?
The founder and chief executive at Tesla Inc. and SpaceX invited thoughts from his 65.8 million Twitter followers on whether he should follow in the footsteps of Jeff Bezos and Jack Dorsey, and quit his jobs.
Except, his time in retirement would be spent spamming social media with brand partnership content as a full-time influencer — and, no, this is not a joke.

This is not the first time Musk has played around with the idea of freeing himself from the intensive schedule he maintains as head of multiple corporations, including Neuralink and The Boring Company.
As reported by Reuters, the 50-year-old had teased the idea during a conference call in January 2022, where he spoke candidly about his future plans as chief executive of Tesla.
“It would be nice to have a bit more free time on my hands as opposed to just working day and night, from when I wake up to when I go to sleep seven days a week. Pretty intense,” he said at the time.
Suffice it to say, much like Grimes understood on Player of Games, the thrill of discovery could keep Musk on an endless voyage for years to come as seen in the latest update from SpaceX he retweeted.
