Popular vixen Rubi Rose drew ire from social media when she appeared in a live stream with gamers and made wild statements about the use of the ‘N-word’ by non-blacks.
What did Rubi Rose say about the ‘N-word’?
The US Instagram model slash part-time rapper isn’t exactly on a rollout tour for anything we are aware of. So, it remains unknown why she surfaced on a video conference call with popular gamer Adin Ross and his mates recently.
Alas, before the conversation took off, Rose courted controversy when she admitted that she confused Ross, a caucasian, for a light-skinned Indian or middle-eastern.
“For some reason I kinda thought that you’re Indian or like… Middle-Eastern or something, I don’t know… You’re just light-skinned,” she said.
Ross and at least eight other streamers were taken aback by Rose’s comments, who doubled down on her suspicions by adding that Ross’ hair was ‘curly’. Of course, Ross, a certified A1 class clown, played along with Rose’s apparent ignorance and teased the idea of using the ‘N-word’.
While Ross’ streamer mates, most of whom were black, completely refused Ross’ parodic plea to use the racial slur, Rose simply shrugged and admitted she doesn’t mind it at all.
“I’m personally okay with anybody saying it, as long as their intent isn’t to be rude, ’cause I’m sure Adin [Ross], you have a lot of black people on your channel, you like black music probably. So, as long as the person isn’t saying it with malicious intent, personally, ’cause I have like Mexican homegirls and white homegirls who be saying it,” Rubi Rose said
