Pete Davidson bid farewell to Saturday Night Live (SNL) after eight years, and there to see him off with a cameo on his final skit was Rock Hall of Famer Eminem.
Pete Davidson ends eight-year career at SNL
Saturday night was an emotional one for the cast of the comedy skit show, as Davidson joined a slew of veterans, including Kate McKinnon, Aidy Bryant and Kyle Moone, hitting the exit.
Davidson, however, whose celebrity star rose since he started dating Kim Kardashian, former wife of billionaire rap fashion impresario Kanye West, was the centre of attention on Saturday. Even he recognised this in his monologue on the Weekend Update skit.
“Hello Colin and Che and millions of people only watching to see if I bring up Kanye,” he said
Davidson went on a hilarious trip down memory lane, using a bit of truth and humour in reflecting on his eight-year tenure at SNL.
As reported by TMZ, the comedian has yet to reveal much about his plans for the future. However, suspicion is rife that Davidson may be eyeing a move to Los Angeles (LA), to join his girlfriend Kim Kardashian in Hollywood.
What this means for his career remains to be seen.
