The commission of inquiry into state capture is expected to run into the late evening hours, on Monday, following confirmation that Norma Mngoma would appear before DCJ Raymond Zondo.

The commission issued a notice stating that the estranged wife of former Home Affairs Minister Malusi Gigaba would be testifying after all. This comes after it was alleged that Mngoma had decided against assisting the commission, in the 11th hour.
Before the country is treated to what is expected to be a blockbuster, Gigaba’s legal representatives will be granted an opportunity to submit an application to cross-examine his estranged wife.
This application will be heard at the start of the evening session, shortly before Mngoma takes the hot seat to offer the commission insight into her husband’s alleged dealings with the Gupta family.
