The rape charges against R&B star Trey Songz keep piling up, as more women come forward with shocking claims.
Trey Songz rape charges: Anal assault lawsuit added to list
As reported by TMZ, the 37-year-old is listed as an alleged sex abuser in a new $20 million (est. R301 million) lawsuit filed by a Jane Doe represented by Ariel Mitchell, the attorney leading two similar cases in Miami, FL, and New York.
According to the unidentified woman, the incident allegedly took place at a Los Angeles (L.A) house party in March 2016. While the woman claims she and Trey had consensually agreed to have sex, she had made it clear to him that anal intercourse was out of the question.
However, the R&B allegedly ignored her refusal and, upon entering the bedroom, he allegedly threw her to the ground, ripped off her pants, and sodomised her.
In the court documents, the woman described pinning her hopes of being saved on a witness who had barged into the bedroom while she was being assaulted, but she claims the unknown person quickly left, allowing the Bottoms Up star to carry on with the alleged rape.
Following the alleged ordeal, the woman claims she grabbed her clothes and ran into her Uber, where the driver saw she was under a great deal of duress and, instead of transporting her to the listed address, he took her to a nearby hospital.
Tests conducted at the healthcare facility concluded that the woman had suffered “severe anal tearing that could require surgery.”
Trey Songz is also listed as an alleged sex abuser in two other cases, one of which involves renowned former basketball player-turned-rapper Dylan Gonzalez.
