The Waterboys’ tour of South Africa has been postponed once again.
The band was initially supposed to perform in November 2021, however, on Wednesday, concert organiser, Breakout Events, announced that due to the restrictions that still exist because of the coronavirus pandemic, they have no choice but to postpone The Waterboys’ music tour to November 2022.
“Due to the continued coronavirus pandemic and the current restrictions within South Africa, as well as the impact and restrictions on travel and the live music scene across the world, the dates for The Waterboys tour of South Africa have been rescheduled and will now take place in November 2022,” the organiser wrote in a statement.

The band’s SA tour is not something the musicians will be giving up on because the new dates and venues have already been confirmed. There is no need to worry about purchased tickets, they will still be valid even for the new concert dates and venues.
