- Yellow Level 2 Warning: Severe thunderstorms are expected over most parts of the interior of KwaZulu-Natal, the Mpumalanga escarpment, and the northeastern parts of the Eastern Cape. These storms may lead to:

- Localised flooding in both formal and informal settlements
- Damage to infrastructure and property
- Yellow Level 2 Warning: Severe thunderstorms are expected over most parts of the interior of KwaZulu-Natal, the Mpumalanga escarpment, and the northeastern parts of the Eastern Cape. These storms may lead to:
- Fire Danger Warnings:
- Extremely high fire danger conditions are anticipated in parts of the eastern Northern Cape.
- Advisories:
- Heatwave conditions with persistently high temperatures are expected in:
- The Mpumalanga and Limpopo Lowveld, as well as the Limpopo Valley, until Sunday.
- Gauteng and the western Bushveld of Limpopo, at least until Saturday.

- Very hot in the extreme north; otherwise, partly cloudy and hot with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers in the east.
- Mpumalanga:
- Partly cloudy and warm with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers, becoming scattered in the east.
- Limpopo:
- Partly cloudy and hot to very hot with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers in the central and southeastern parts.
- North West:
- Partly cloudy and hot, becoming very hot in the west.
- Free State:
- Partly cloudy and hot, with isolated afternoon thundershowers in the east.
- Northern Cape:
- Fine and warm to hot; partly cloudy along the south coast and adjacent interior with isolated light showers. Coastal winds will be light to moderate north-westerly, becoming southerly.
- Western Cape:
- Partly cloudy and cool along the southern coast; cloudy with isolated rain and showers over the extreme southeastern parts and western areas, becoming fine from the afternoon. Coastal winds will be moderate to fresh westerly, strong north-westerly in the southwest and south from the afternoon, moderating towards evening.
- Western Half of the Eastern Cape:
- Cloudy and cool along the coast with isolated showers and rain west of St Francis; otherwise, fine and warm to hot. Coastal winds will be moderate to fresh south-westerly.
- Eastern Half of the Eastern Cape:
- Cloudy in places south of the escarpment in the morning; otherwise, fine and cool to warm, but hot in places over the interior. It will become partly cloudy with isolated showers and thundershowers, scattered in the northeast. Coastal winds will be moderate to fresh south-westerly.
- KwaZulu-Natal:
- Partly cloudy and warm to hot, very hot in the north. It will become cloudy in the afternoon with scattered showers and thundershowers, isolated in the northeast. Coastal winds will be moderate to fresh northerly to north-easterly, becoming fresh to strong southerly to south-westerly from the south in the afternoon.
