- Western Half of the Eastern Cape: Fine and very hot in places, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot with scattered showers and thundershowers but isolated showers along the coast. Moderate to fresh north-westerly winds in the early morning, turning south-westerly and reaching strong in places.
- Eastern Half of the Eastern Cape: Partly cloudy and warm to hot with scattered showers and thundershowers. Fresh to strong north-easterly winds, becoming south-westerly from the south by late morning.
- KwaZulu-Natal: Morning fog patches over the eastern interior, otherwise partly cloudy to cloudy and warm to hot, very hot in places in the north with isolated showers and thundershowers. Moderate to fresh easterly to north-easterly winds, becoming south-westerly from the south by the evening. UVB sunburn index: Extreme.
