- A heatwave with persistently high temperatures is expected in the central interior of the Eastern Cape, continuing until Saturday.

- Gauteng: Cloudy and cool to warm, with scattered showers and thundershowers, especially in the north.
- Mpumalanga: Cloudy and warm to cool, with scattered showers and thundershowers. It will be hot in the Lowveld.
- Limpopo: Morning fog over the escarpment, cloudy and warm to hot with scattered showers and thundershowers, except in the Lowveld where they will be isolated.
- North West: Partly cloudy and warm to hot, with isolated to scattered showers and thundershowers in the east.
- Free State: Partly cloudy and warm to hot, with isolated to scattered showers and thundershowers in the central and eastern parts.
- Northern Cape: Partly cloudy to cloudy in the west in the morning, fine and hot to very hot during the day.
- Western Cape: Cloudy to partly cloudy and warm to hot, but cool along the south-west and south coast where light rain is expected in the morning. It will clear in the west and north in the afternoon.
- Western Half of the Eastern Cape: Cloudy to partly cloudy in the south, fine and warm to hot in the north. Isolated morning showers along the coast, west of Port Elizabeth.
- Eastern Half of the Eastern Cape: Morning fog in the interior, partly cloudy to cloudy and warm to hot. Isolated showers and thundershowers are expected in the east.
- KwaZulu-Natal: Morning fog patches in places, partly cloudy to cloudy and warm but hot in the north. Scattered showers and thundershowers in the west, isolated elsewhere.
