Sithelo Shozi went under the knife, and on Wednesday, she released raw pictures of her body at the start of her post-Brazilian-butt-lift (BBL) healing journey.
PICS: What Sithelo Shozi looks like post-BBL operation
Shozi, who recently made headlines in her ongoing feud with the MaMkhize dynasty, has been on a ‘mommy makeover’ trip in Turkey.
It’s unclear when the part-time DJ went under the knife. Still, on Wednesday, she surfaced on Instagram with a series of Story posts where she reflected on the decision she took to ‘rediscover’ her youth with cosmetic surgery.
Shozi revealed she’d been on a two-month diet, purposefully gaining weight with excessive fast food eating in preparation for “the procedure I wanted.”
“My hip dips must’ve been my biggest worry and also just achieving my desired shape,” she wrote.
Our amateur observations of the pre and post-surgery pictures she uploaded suggest Shozi’s weight gain around her waist and thighs was redistributed to her behind.
Andile Mpisane’s scorned baby momma made it abundantly clear she held no regrets about her decision and was far from affected by the stigma around plastic surgery.
“First I wish we’d retract the surgery stigma we seem to pass on. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with giving yourself a makeover, it’s really each to their own when it comes to such and after three kids, this was the best decision and best reward I could’ve given myself,” she said.
A video she posted after the ‘big’ reveal showed the sheer amount of blood she needed to commence the start of her road to recovery.
Where did Shozi get her body done?
The mother of three will, later in August 2022, release a first-account detail of her ‘mommy makeover’ in a vlog, where she is expected to take fans into the corridors of The Clinique, an Istanbul-based plastic surgery centre that prides itself on its affordable service offerings.
Apart from an Instagram page with more than 71 000 followers and a WordPress website, not much is known about The Clinique. The cosmetic surgery centre offers an array of aesthetic upgrades, from breast enlargements, uplifts and reductions to BBLs and gynecomastia (‘boob’ reductions for men with imbalanced breast hormones).
Shozi and scores of women around the world, including local celebrities and Instagram models with enough savings to blow on a ‘revamp’, are turning to Istanbul for low-cost plastic surgery.
The risk of resorting to the ‘knife’ to meet your body goals is always present, of course. Take, for instance, Joselyn Cano, who died due to BBL post-op complications.
However, Istanbul, as reported by Fodors Travel, sees travellers from around the world visit to go under the knife for “half or even a third of the price compared to in their home countries.”
