The ‘Real Housewives’ franchise has washed up on the shores of Cape Town, bringing along with it a promise of reality TV drama and a first-hand look at the city’s pacesetters.

When does the show premiere?
News of the Cape Town spin-off first surfaced at the end of 2021. At the time, renowned SA television reporter Kgopolo Mphela had revealed that “production of RHO CPT will commence after RHO Durban.“
The success of the Durban iteration will surely allow a great deal of anticipation for the housewives of Cape Town. In a statement, Shirley Adonisi, Director of Local Entertainment Channels at M-Net, confirmed the Real Housewives of Cape Town is set to premiere on Mzansi Magic (channel 161 on DStv) on Sunday, 10 July 2022 at 19:00, and new episodes will release on a weekly basis thereafter.
