Showmax ramped up the ‘messy’ rollout by dropping a snippet of the much-anticipated Mohale Motaung interview. where shocking claims were made about Somizi Mhlongo.
Mohale Motaung describes alleged Somizi assault in Showmax interview
Mhlongo’s estranged husband is gearing up for his tell-all interview with news anchor Aldrin Sampear, which premieres on Showmax, the same rightsholder of Somizi’s Living The Dream reality show, on Thursday, 4 August 2022.
On Monday, a new snippet of the interview dropped and, for the first time, fans got a peep into the depths Motaung will go in detailing his version of the truth behind SA entertainment’s most-publicised breakup.
“I was really myself when I was with him, and I could express myself in many ways,” he told Sampear.
Until now, Mhlongo, the magnate in the failed marriage, has had full control of the narrative. In fact, the entire fifth season of Somizi’s reality TV show is a long-drawn smear campaign against his ex.
Finally, Motaung’s opportunity under the spotlight is only weeks away, and if the snippet is anything to go by, then it’s likely that gob-smackers are on the cards. In the snippet that’s gone viral, Mohale accuses Mhlongo of being a control freak.
He tells Sampear:
“I was happy until certain things happened. Like, the control and constantly being reminded that I bring nothing to the table except my pretty face.”
The most shocking part of the snippet comes when Motaung goes into detail about the day he was allegedly assaulted by Mhlongo.
Fans will have to wait for the Showmax premiere to get the full picture, but, in his own words, the gist of it is that for reasons not yet unveiled, Mhlongo allegedly struck him after threatening to mess up his face.
Mhlongo has vehemently denied ever lifting a hand against Motaung, and, as things stand, the couple is still embroiled in a fiery unbundling. Here is a look at the viral snippet from Mohale’s tell-all interview.
