Breaking into the Top 5 of the intercontinental contest proved to be a tall order for the Limpopo pageant queen, who failed to make it past the Top 40.
This would be the first time since 2013 a Miss South Africa pageant queen was unable to make into the Top 10 of Miss World. However, for Musida, there was much to be thankful for, regardless of the outcome.
“From the bottom of my heart I want to thank you my beloved South Africa for your unwavering support and love I have received from you throughout this journey! I felt it within my soul as I stepped out on stage. I cannot wait to take you along as I enter this new chapter of my life,” she noted in an Instagram post.

Karolina Bielawska biography: Here’s what we know
Bielawska is the new Miss World, one of the youngest to ever wear the crown. From what we know, the Polish national is 22 years old, born in the city of Łódź, the third-largest metropolis in Poland.
With her Miss World title secured, Bielawska will begin her humanitarian work with the pageant organisation, headed by Julia Morley, widow of Eric Morley, the creator of the competition.
Apart from globetrotting at no damage to her finances, Bielawska will walk away with an undisclosed cash prize, free supply of brands associated with the Miss World franchise, and brand ambassadorship that is sure to unlock many doors for the 22-year-old.
