The mother of Hip-Hop producer Metro Boomin was shot and killed by her husband who, in turn, took his own life, TMZ reports.

Metro, real name Leland Tyler Wayne, was informed of the gruesome discovery made by Atlanta police, on Friday evening. According to sources close to the situation, the body of Leslie Joanne Wayne was found dumped in an undisclosed area outside Georgia’s capital city.
Further investigation into Leslie’s murder led authorities to provisionally conclude that Metro’s mother was, in all likelihood, killed by her spouse, a man who has yet to be identified.
Leslie’s husband, it was found, was not the producer’s biological father.
Metro, who has been vocal about the supposed injustices faced by Young Thug and Gunna in the YSL RICO case, has yet to resurface in public, following the tragic news.
His team, however, confirmed the incident to reporters and added that the family requests privacy at this difficult time.
Leslie is survived by his superstar producer son, Metro Boomin and his two siblings.
Investigations into her murder are still ongoing.
The news of the tragic death of Metro’s mom comes around the same time Atlanta street rap legend Trouble, real name Mariel Semonte Orr, who was gunned down at his female friend’s home, in the wee hours of Sunday.
It’s unclear, at this time, what led to his death but authorities have launched a manhunt for the woman’s ex-boyfriend, a man named Jamichael Jones.
