Thokozani ‘Lvovo’ Ndlovu is no stranger to controversy for his wild political takes and perhaps, on Thursday, he made his boldest one yet.
Lvovo: ‘Zuma just overtook Mandela’
Mr ‘Put South Africa First’ has been bellowing from the burrows for quite a while. With no new music to promote, Lvovo has spent most of his time online sharing his two cents on current affairs.
The latest trend he’s hopped on concerns former president Jacob Zuma’s arrest that, more than anything, cemented the fact that no man is above the rule of law.
You will remember that Zuma was cornered into surrendering to authorities after the Constitutional Court found him guilty of contempt for refusing to obey a summons order to reappear before the State Capture Inquiry.
From the Afrotainment artist’s perspective, the furore we witnessed in Nkandla over the past few days was a good enough indication to support his claim that Zuma “now means more to the poor South African than what Mandela meant.”
” Zuma just took pole position in SA politics and history books! People are hurt, like genuinely hurt,” he exclaimed in a tweet.
Of course, the hyperbole in the star’s statement did not go unchecked by his fans.
Judging by this tweet you are obviously one of poor, different kind of poor. https://t.co/skmOYmt949

Zuma supporters declare war against Ramaphosa
Lvovo was not way off the mark in his statement, however misguided it may have been. It took over a week to execute the arrest warrant on the former president, partly due to the fact that his compound was, at all times, surrounded by his cult followers who vowed to spill blood before allowing their leader to be jailed.
Well, the latter, as we all know, was the eventuality without a single drop of blood spilt KwaNxamalala. Still, though, an ominous atmosphere permeates in Nkandla.
While Zuma has opted to serve his time in prison, which could be reduced to three months, his children have been hinting at a brewing political war.
His daughter Duduzile Zuma-Sibandla, targeted the ANC and placed all responsibility for Zuma’s incarceration on the ruling party, likening its leadership and symbolism to that of the apartheid regime.

Edward, who encapsulated the nation’s attention with his questionable antics on Wednesday, conceded to defeat after Zuma willfully handed himself over to authorities. However, he warned that a war has been declared and the enemies are President Cyril Ramaphosa and Acting Chief Justice Raymond Zondo.
I DID MY BEST, WE DID OUR BEST COMRADES BUT THE OLD MAN MADE HIS CHOICE ♂️I RESPECT HIS DECISION, BUT TO RAMAPHOSA & ZONDO THIS IS NOT OVER YOU HAVE DECLARED A WAR & WE GONNA FIGHT THIS TILL THE END #ZumaArrest
