Not only is Reason one of the most underappreciated rappers in South Africa, he is also a real one.
Boity bags another top-tier feature
If you understand ebonics then the latter needs no further explanation. It was not expected but it seems that Reason has a brand new album on the way and the big fella has been teasing up a new record he has in the cloud tuck, with none other than SA rap queen Boity.
People often feel berated when Boity is rightly tagged as the female saviour of South Africa’s commercial Hip-Hop scene. But, you see the numbers don’t lie, and the same can be said about talent.
You see, not only does Boity have the appeal for the position of SA rap queen, but she comes through with the rap package too: a great delivery, well-polished cadence and the gift of making the verses scribed on her behalf her own (IF indeed, the rumours are true that she’s got ghostwriters).
Reason teases new song Satana: Listen
This, of course, is subjective but Reason understands the value in the newly signed Def Jam Africa star and he could not keep the files she turned in to his Dropbox to himself.
Here’s the snippet to the forthcoming single we believe is titled Satana.
Reason has been on a praise campaign, thanking Boity for handing him a song he has already proclaimed to be a hit.
Fans of his were sceptical, however, and one of them probed the Azania rapper about his praise for Boity, to which he replied:
The release date of this smasher has yet to be announced but by the looks of this rollout, it should be real soon.
