Days are slow for Cassper Nyovest, as he prepares for the release of his fifth studio album Any Minute Now, or AMN in short.

Watch: Cassper Nyovest cries ‘open up the country’

A scroll down his Twitter timeline and all you see is #AMN and Friday, 11 September 2020, the official release date of his much-anticipated album.

Nyovest closed off the recording of the album with Nadia Nakai, who believes that their fiery chemistry had a lot to do with her placement as the last guest to be invited in studio.

The Amademoni rapper is currently in the final stages of completing his album before he ships it off for distribution. In a video he shared this morning, you can clearly see how excited he is about it as he dances to the Tweezy-produced hit single screaming “open up the country!”

What we know about AMN: Features, tracklist and artwork

There is a lot of anticipation building around AMN. Nyovest has been forthcoming to his fans with details around the guests he has called on to contribute to the project.

So far, we know that the album will feature the likes of Busiswa, Samthing Soweto and Nadia Nakai.

However, we expect the rapper to have a few surprise appearances. It would not be incorrect to presume that an international feature could also appear on AMN but that’s something we have to wait on until the album is out.

Major League DJs tried to get on the album with their Amapiano sound but were told off at the door who exclaimed:

Nyovest has hinted at this being his best body of work yet. He urged fans to soak in the first track on the album, claiming that “your mother is going to love it too.”

This is the message he left for people who will be quick to place judgment on the album after one or two listens:
