On Tuesday evening, the rapper announced that he will be releasing three new singles on Friday, a feast of new music from the rapper since his previous two-pack (F.R.E.E and Main Ou’s).
An opportunity to reignite his beef with media persona and businessman Sizwe Dhlomo came when a clip from a two-way Instagram Live feed between Da Les and Riky Rick popped up on Twitter.
Makhado respectfully gave his two cents on Dhlomo’s unwarranted reaction to AKA’s botched sneaker deal with Reebok (in ebonics, it was a lick), basically disagreeing with the businessman’s approach.
Nyovest backs Sizwe in response to Mega’s hate
Using this as his loudhailer, AKA launched a tirade against Dhlomo in a series of tweets.
Even Cassper Nyovest, who has been subtweeting his arch-nemesis all week, butting in on things that did not concern him, got a bit of Mega’s shade.
Nyovest, though, could not sit by and watch any longer. He retorted with his usual response to AKA rants: “It’s got to be the drugs.”
At the time of these tweets, Dhlomo was probably sound asleep. As expected, by the time he returned to Twitter on Wednesday morning, his timeline must have been buzzing with notifications from AKA’s tirade.
