The fat lady is singing and on cue are three new singles from AKA.
Say what you want about Supamega but you can never take away his God-given musical talents. On Friday, he blessed his ‘megacy’ with not one or two, but three new singles.
In the eyes of AKA, this should be enough to keep his works on constant rotation on national radio, enough to keep his name at the summit of trending topics and just enough to keep his adversaries pissed off.
We would be naive to think that he does this purely for the pleasure of rubbing his success in the faces of his enemies, though. At his core, AKA is a true musician. His polarising character is a combination of culture and business strategy.
If you love him, he will keep you drawn into his aura like a drug. If you despise him, his antics will keep his name in your mouth and whatever hate you spew will only impact the charges on his rate card.
It’s a business and Mega is the best at it.
